Write Up and Rise understands the importance of people being able to tell their story. We know there is a power in both the telling and importantly the sense of being actively listened to. Stories are our most effective method of communicating with and about each other and we seem to have no other way of sharing our lived experience. Making stories allows us to make sense of the world furnishing it not just with disintegrated facts but with narratives with meaning. Our stories tell us where we have been, where we are and where we might go.

As an organisation we are committed to developing methods to better include the voices and stories from young people who are underrepresented or marginalised. Only by ensuring their voices are heard and their stories are told can we work towards building a better, brighter and more inclusive future.
